Giorgio Armani’s style cannot be described by separating the masculine from the feminine. The men’s and women’s collections are shown separate but at the same time. For Giorgio Armani this is the vision of fashion, unified styles that nevertheless retain differences. With two separate videos, Armani tells the fall / winter 2021-22 collections, which take place under the gaze of nature that controls everything.
Nature represented here by Uri, the gorilla / primate in faithful reproduction who lives in the Armani house (work of the artist Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba). Armani called it Uri, a biblical name that stands for “flamboyant” and keeps it in his house as a witness to a direct relationship with nature and the commitment that the designer has made with the WWF by donating the funds for the protection because Uri species is at risk of extinction.
